IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME

Hey friends of www.AYPmagazine.com , I know I've left you hangin' for awhile, sorry. The silver lining is, the reason I haven't been blogging lately is because AYP Magazine is progressing quite nicely.

There are so many things going on with AYP, so before I forget, please check us out on Twitter (@aypmagazine), facebook (AYP Mag), and myspace (myspace.com/aypmagazine). I'd also like to announce that we are working on some things with 2nd Floor Basement radio (http://www.krykey.com/Radio/PRSPage.aspx?id=133), providing the finest in Hip Hop from yesterday to today. Big up to my man Desmond, we're making moves!

I wanna say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to friend of AYP Magazine, MindsOne's KONsciene! Look for the new MindsOne mixtape dropping shortly.

Respect to BONE THUGS N HARMONY on there debut at #14 on the Billboard 200 with their new cd, UNI5: The World's Enemy. The cd is definately worth your time, and while you're at it, check out AYPmagazine.com 's interview with LAYZIE, FLESH, WISH, and KRAYZIE conducted last month. Where was BIZZY you ask, watch the interview and hear what the BONE crew has to say about that.

If you haven't seen the site lately, you need to get there! In recent weeks we have added video interviews with Holy Hip Hop artist/producer/promoter FLAGZ DA BAD BOY (with freestyle), Reggae performer TONY DREAD (with live footage), Rec League and Brown Co emcee/Muppet enthusiast HAJI P (with freestyle). We'va also added interviews with Young Jeezy's protege, controversial CTE rapper WHITE (courtesy of @SHAMfreakinWOW, with his three music videos), emcee on the come-up, SCOTTIE FLIPPEN (with live footage and AYP MAGAZINE FREE THROWS).

Artists, if you have something worth checking out, feel free to contact us at AYPmagazine@gmail.com, or through our Twitter, Facebook, and Myspace accounts. We are more than happy to talk to anybody of any genre, but please be professional. If you perform covers on the local street corner and don't have any product, good luck, but come back when you are ready for bigger things. New artists are welcome, but please be serious about your craft. We are interested in posting your professionally shot videos as well. If you want it out there, hit us up!

AYP Magazine is also interested in contributors. If you are a writer or reviewer, or you feel you have something to offer, contact us.

Thanks again to all of our friends and family. We are looking forward to a great summer. Please support AYP Magazine by telling your friends, post it on your Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter accounts. Also, if you are interested, we have added a "Donations" button to the bottom of the home page. We have managed to stay advertisement free for this long, but the cost of running the site is causing us to look for revenue sources. If you feel so inclined, please feel free to support AYP Magazine financially.

Until next time, if you cannot be good, be careful in all that you do.

Respect,
Andy Nichols
